07-hectare dragon fruit garden owned by Mr. Đỗ Văn Hưng in Minh Phú Hamlet 1, Hàm Yên already met the model garden standards
Among them, Sơn Dương District has the highest number of registrations, with 10 gardens. Chiêm Hóa District and Tuyên Quang City each have 05, while Yên Sơn and Na Hang districts have 02 each. Hàm Yên District has one, notably including a 7-hectare dragon fruit garden owned by Mr. Đỗ Văn Hưng in Minh Phú Hamlet 1, Hàm Yên, which has already met the model garden standards.
To be recognized as a model garden, 05 key criteria must be met: Garden size and layout, application of scientific and technological advancements, product quality, environmental and landscape conditions, and income generation.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is currently working with local authorities to support garden owners in tending their crops and livestock in line with production capabilities, market trends, and consumer preferences. Additionally, businesses and individuals are being encouraged to purchase and promote the sale of agricultural products from these model gardens.
