Welcoming the delegation, Chairman Nguyen Van Son expressed his pleasure at their visit and reaffirmed Tuyen Quang’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with India. He emphasized the province’s interest in expanding collaboration in areas where India has strong expertise, such as science, technology, and education. The Chairman also extended his gratitude to the Indian Embassy for its continued support, particularly in providing assistance following Typhoon Yagi and helping build schools and classrooms in the province.
Ambassador Sandeep Arya highlighted the strong ties between Viet Nam and India, noting the great potential for cooperation with Tuyen Quang. He expressed admiration for the province’s beautiful landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and historical significance in Viet Nam’s revolutionary history. The Ambassador also proposed further collaboration in education, encouraging more students from Tuyen Quang to study in India. Additionally, he suggested cultural exchange initiatives such as organizing International Yoga Day, hosting an Indian Film Week in Tuyen Quang, and facilitating performances by Tuyen Quang’s art troupes in India.
The visit marks an important step in strengthening the relationship between Tuyen Quang and India, promising future cooperation across various fields.
