The delegation was welcomed by Tuyen Quang’s provincial leadership, including Ha Thi Nga, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. Other provincial officials and leaders from local districts also participated in the meeting.

During the session, Chairman Nguyen Van Son expressed appreciation for the visit, offering a comprehensive overview of Tuyen Quang’s historical significance. He highlighted the province’s role as the Capital of the Liberation Zone and Capital of the War Resistance during the French colonial period, where President Ho Chi Minh and other national leaders worked alongside the local people in the struggle for independence.
Chairman Son further emphasized the province’s ongoing efforts to promote economic and social development, with a focus on improving living standards for its citizens. He underscored Tuyen Quang’s commitment to preserving its cultural heritage and developing key sectors such as agriculture, forestry, tourism, and services. The province has also fostered an inviting investment climate to support these initiatives.

He also expressed a desire for continued support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam’s overseas diplomatic missions, international organizations, and foreign enterprises. He specifically called for assistance in promoting Tuyen Quang’s cultural values, investment opportunities, and its attractive environment for foreign investors.
In her remarks, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang praised Tuyen Quang for its significant achievements across various sectors, particularly in international cooperation and diplomacy, which have contributed to enhancing Vietnam’s standing on the global stage. She also expressed her empathy with the challenges faced by the province following the severe flooding caused by Typhoon 3 in 2024.

She highlighted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had been increasingly focused on strengthening international relations and promoting cooperation between Vietnamese provinces and foreign countries, including Tuyen Quang. She emphasized that the information shared during the meeting would help Vietnamese ambassadors and overseas diplomatic missions better serve their roles.
The Tuyen Quang Department of Foreign Affairs presented a summary of the province’s socio-economic development and diplomatic activities, outlining areas where the province seeks to expand international partnerships. Attendees discussed strategies to further enhance foreign relations and international cooperation.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mrs. Ha Thi Nga stressed the importance of diplomacy, especially as Vietnam continues to deepen its international integration. She expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnam’s overseas diplomatic missions for their support to Tuyen Quang.
Tuyen Quang has prioritized green growth and is preparing favorable conditions to attract investment. The province hopes that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese diplomatic missions overseas will continue to facilitate international partnerships, particularly in the fields of industrial development, agriculture, tourism, and high-quality human resource training.
As part of the visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also provided assistance to the community by building two new homes for disadvantaged families in Ham Yen district.
Before concluding the visit, the delegation paid tribute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs historical site in Don village, Minh Thanh commune, Son Duong district.
