During the meeting, Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong highlighted Tuyen Quang's geographical features, socio-economic development, and cultural and tourism potential. He underscored that since the initial meeting in August 2023, KOVECA has played a pivotal role in fostering cooperation. Milestones include a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tuyen Quang Department of Foreign Affairs, cultural and sports exchanges between Chosun University (Korea) and Tan Trao University, and introducing Korean enterprises to explore opportunities in the province.
Notably, BEOR Corporation, a Korean enterprise specializing in agriculture, energy, and biotechnology, has initiated cooperative projects with local cooperatives in Tuyen Quang.
Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong expressed his hope for deeper and more practical cooperation between KOVECA and Tuyen Quang in areas such as local-level partnerships, tourism development with Jeju Island, and trade collaboration.
Mr. Kwon Sung Taek presented a book written about the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong by a Korean author to Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong.
In her remarks, Ms. Chang Jung-Mi thanked Tuyen Quang for its warm reception and affirmed KOVECA's commitment to supporting the province. She introduced Jeju Island, renowned for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, attracting around 15 million tourists annually. She noted the similarities between Jeju and Tuyen Quang in natural, cultural, and tourism conditions, emphasizing the potential for fruitful exchanges between the two regions.

Ms. Chang Jung-Mi pledged that KOVECA's artists would actively promote Tuyen Quang in Jeju and extended an invitation for a delegation from Tuyen Quang to visit Jeju Island in the near future.
On November 20, KOVECA, in collaboration with Yen Son District, organized a donation program providing 500 gift packages to children of Xuan Van Kindergarten and Xuan Van Primary Schools.
