At the meeting, Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son informed about the socio-economic development situation and banking activities in the province in 2023. In building new rural areas, Tuyen Quang province has determined the goal that by 2025, 85/122 communes (equal to 69.67%) of communes will meet new rural standards; Over 30% of communes meet advanced new rural commune standards (26 communes) and 10% of communes meet model new rural commune standards; The average number of criteria across the province is over 17 criteria/commune; By 2025, Ham Yen district will be recognized as a district meeting new rural standards, bringing the total number of district-level units completing the task of building new rural areas to 2/7 units.
Implementing the direction of the Chairman of the National Assembly, based on the results of the working session on the Project to build Son Duong district to meet new rural standards for the 2023-2025 period of the National Assembly Office, currently the Party Committee and authorities of Tuyen Quang province Quang, Son Duong district is actively implementing the project to build Son Duong district to meet new rural standards before 2025 and has received attention and sharing from ministries, branches, central agencies, localities, enterprise.
To support Son Duong district to meet new rural standards, contributing to establishing achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), Tuyen province Quang requested the State Bank of Vietnam and commercial banks to provide financial support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and carry out social security work in the province.
In particular, Agribank, Vietinbank and Vietcombank are requested to support 800 new houses for poor households; requested banks: Techcombank, Sacombank and Vpbank to support social security work of about 23.3 billion VND to build classrooms, function rooms, and purchase teaching equipment for schools in the area.
Discussed at the meeting, representatives of bank leaders highly appreciated the province's efforts in socio-economic development. At the same time, he affirmed that he will join hands with the province to support the construction of new rural areas in Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank Dao Minh Tu highly appreciated the province's efforts in promulgating mechanisms and policies to promote the province's socio-economic development.
He emphasized that the State Bank, with its responsibility, will continue to promote the effective implementation of mechanisms and policies on monetary and banking operations, especially the mechanisms and policies of the Bank , support for socio-economic recovery and development is associated with the implementation of national target programs.
Regarding the new rural construction program of Son Duong district, he affirmed that this is a very meaningful and necessary program for Son Duong rural areas to be completed to reach the new rural destination.
He requested banks to soon deploy procedures to support Tuyen Quang province in implementing the new rural construction program in Son Duong district. Commercial banks consider support levels to promptly inform the province and deploy support procedures for Tuyen Quang. The industry union will also have a social security program in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam respectfully thanked the Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the leaders of Agribank, Vietinbank, Vietcombank, Techcombank, Sacombank and VPbank spent time working with the province.
He hopes that the State Bank and commercial banks will continue to promote the implementation of policy credit programs and lending policies that contribute to poverty reduction and new rural construction; Agricultural and rural development policies and economic recovery have contributed positively to the overall development of the province. He also hoped that commercial banks Techcombank, Sacombank and Vpbank would open offices in Tuyen Quang.
Regarding building new rural areas in Son Duong district, he thanked the help of the State Bank and banks for agreeing to support resources to build Son Duong district to meet new rural standards by 2025. He assigned the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with banks to carry out the banks' support procedures. At the same time, request departments and Son Duong district to proactively prepare procedures to be ready to carry out work when receiving support from banks.
