The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector maintained stable growth at 3.62%. By the first quarter of 2025, the province had issued 31 planting area codes (34 for export and 17 for domestic consumption) and two packaging facility codes for export, facilitating the expansion of Tuyen Quang’s agricultural products into international markets. Tourism, trade, and services also showed remarkable improvement. Estimated total revenue from tourism in the first quarter reached 1.288 trillion VND, marking a 19.85% increase year-on-year. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue grew by 20.29%, while export value surged by an impressive 78.19%. Industrial production value increased by 23.4% over the same period last year. The province accelerated infrastructure development in the Xuan Van, An Hoa - Long Binh An industrial clusters and expedited procedures for the construction of Phuc Ung 2 Industrial Cluster.
During the quarter, four new industrial projects commenced operations: A sports and casual footwear manufacturing plant, a plush toy processing and manufacturing plant, the Tuyen Quang 2’s 110 kV transmission line and substation project, and the Erex Sakura Tuyen Quang biomass fuel plant, with a total investment exceeding 774.9 billion VND.
Additionally, the province implemented the Master Plan for Tuyen Quang for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. It successfully allocated 100% of the 2025 public investment capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister, totaling 5.637 trillion VND, approximately 25% higher than the previously allocated amount.
