Following the Chairman's directive, provincial departments, sectors, and agencies are intensifying efforts to raise awareness about nature conservation and wildlife protection. The goal is to educate officials, civil servants, and the public on the importance of preserving endangered, precious, and rare species. Concurrently, illegal activities such as hunting, captivity, transportation, and trade of wildlife and their products are strictly prohibited, in accordance with the law.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked with leading and coordinating efforts with other agencies and localities to implement the program. This includes public education on biodiversity conservation and endangered species protection, along with enhanced enforcement of biodiversity laws.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will collaborate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to integrate wildlife management plans into forest management strategies. These efforts aim to oversee the conservation of endangered species within protected and special-use forests and ensure sustainable forest management.
Additionally, district and city-level People's Committees, the Provincial Police, and the Directorate of Market Surveillance are instructed to work with relevant departments to prevent and address illegal wildlife-related activities. These include hunting, capturing, killing, captivity, transportation, trading, processing, storing, and consuming wildlife. Violators will face strict legal actions to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
