Impressive Industrial Growth
The industry and construction sector continues to lead the province’s economic expansion, with a 13.15% increase contributing 4.21 percentage points to the overall growth. Notably: The industrial sector grew 14.55%, contributing 3.39 percentage points; The manufacturing and processing industry saw the highest increase at 12.93%, reaching 25.3% of the annual target; Mining increased by 12.86%; Electricity production and distribution surged by 24.38%.

In Q1/2025, four new industrial projects began operation in the province: A factory producing premium sports and loafer shoes; A plush toy processing and manufacturing plant; The Tuyen Quang 2 110kV power line and substation project; The Erex Sakura Tuyen Quang biomass fuel plant, with total investment exceeding VND 774.9 billion
Firm Commitment to Growth Targets
Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that Tuyen Quang targets a 10.05% GRDP growth in 2025. To achieve this ambitious goal and implement Directive No. 09/CT-TTg dated March 21, 2025, from the Prime Minister on tasks and solutions for state-owned enterprises to contribute to double-digit national economic growth, the provincial government has issued Document No. 1713/UBND-THVX. This outlines synchronized and decisive implementation of key tasks across departments, agencies, and localities.
