Key export sectors, including tea, plywood, PP tarpaulins, and headphones, continue to drive this success. The Department of Industry and Trade reports steady growth, with companies like Song Lo Tea Joint Stock Company leading the charge.
Song Lo Tea exceeded its 2024 targets, exporting over 4,700 tons of green and black tea, generating nearly $8 million in revenue – a 70% increase over projections. The company is actively expanding its reach beyond traditional markets in the Middle East, India, and Pakistan, securing plantation region codes to facilitate smoother exports to ASEAN countries. A strong start to 2025 saw 400 tons shipped in January alone.
An Hoa Paper J.S.C also reported strong results, producing and selling nearly 280,000 tons of paper and pulp. This generated nearly VND 3,500 billion in revenue and contributed VND 177 billion to the state budget, exceeding its target by 102%. The company plans to further increase revenue to VND 3,600 billion and contribute VND 184 billion to the state budget in 2025.
Beyond established industries, Tuyen Quang witnessed the launch of several high-value industrial projects in 2024. These include Sung Lim ViNa Co., Ltd.’s PP container packaging manufacturing in Son Nam Industrial Park, Future Ghi Singapore’s wood flooring production in Thang Quan Industrial Cluster, and Hong Phat Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company’s tissue paper manufacturing plant. These new ventures are ramping up production, contributing to the province's optimistic outlook for a significant export surge in 2025.
